Setting Up Media Kit

Your media kit displays information about your advertising program, audience, available ad placements and costs to advertisers. Publishers can set ad rates (CPM, CPC, CPA, or flat fee) for each zone. These media rates will be displayed to potential advertisers and the rates are used to compute the final invoice amount.

For a publisher, there are 2 types of Media Kit:

  1. Media Kit for Publisher: this is the main media kit that includes all zone's media kits. You can view this media kit from the menu Advertisers/Media Kit
  2. Media Kit for Zone: this is the media kit for each zone. By default, any zone with ad rates will be automatically included into the main media kit unless you want to exclude it.
For an ad network, there are 3 types of Media Kit:
  1. Media Kit for Ad Network: this is the main media kit that includes all zones with rates. You can view this media kit from the menu Advertisers/Media Kit
  2. Media Kit for Site/Publisher: this is the media kit for each site/publisher. You can view this media kit from the main media kit or when viewing an individual publisher
  3. Media Kit for Zone: this is the media kit for each zone. By default, any zone with ad rates will be automatically included into the main media kit unless you want to exclude it.

Enable the Add-on

Before you can use the Media Kit feature, you will need to turn it on by following the menu My Account / Profile / Add-ons. You should also enable both Advertisers and Invoices add-ons as companions.

Setup a new Media Kit

In order for potential advertisers to place an order, you need to setup the media kit for the ad placements, i.e. zones, on your website:

Ad Rates

Potential advertisers can buy clicks (CPC), impressions (CPM), conversions (CPA) or display time (one week, two weeks, one month, etc.)

Rate Brackets

A publisher can set multiple rate brackets for volume discounts. For example: Additionally, you can setup coupon codes to manage promotions and discounts for your advertising sales.

For a zone's media kit, you can change Rate Range Mode to be All (allow a custom/special order amount) or Strict (an order amount must be within defined rate ranges). This is useful if you have a minimum order amount or a maximum cap.

Custom Description and Notes

You can follow the menu Advertisers / Media Kit and click on Edit tab to add additional details such as: company introduction, photos, advertising opportunities, audience details, traffic patterns, discount coupons, or any additional instructions/notes. You can use simple HTML tags like images, bullets, bold, italic, paragraph, link or create a popup box (modal window) with additional info. Your input will be displayed to potential advertisers in the media kit under your company's logo. Similarly, you can also change the media kit description for a self-service ad zone.

Preview your Media Kit

Once the zone rates are setup, you can preview the media kit by following the menu Advertisers / Media Kit.

Next Step - "Advertise with us"

After you set ad rates for one or more zones, you are ready to put the media kit link "Advertise with us", or your own words, on your website so that potential advertisers can sign up and place an advertising order directly with you. Here is how to get this link:
